To provide a safe, enriching, and supportive recovery environment for adults living with a mental illness.
Supportive environments foster participation in health and enable people to expand their capabilities and health self-reliance. (World Health Organization, 1986)
Meaningful activity affords members the opportunity to regain a positive identity, including a sense of purpose and value.
Volunteer peer mentors, people with personal experience of recovery from mental health difficulties, are available to support members through the recovery process.
Members are provided with opportunities to attend conferences and training’s in the community. Guest speakers, on a variety of topics, often visit the club.
